Laurentian University
 (Université Laurentienne), which was incorporated on March 28, 1960, is a mid-sized bilingual university in Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.

While primarily focusing on undergraduate programming, Laurentian also features the east campus of Canada's newest medical school—the Northern Ontario School of Medicine—which opened in 2005. Its school of Graduate Studies offers a growing number of graduate-level degrees. Laurentian is the largest bilingual provider of distance education in Canada.[

The university's campus is located on the south side of Lake Ramsey, just south of Greater Sudbury's downtown core in the Bell Grove neighborhood, near some of the city's wealthiest residential neighborhoods. The city's Idylwylde golf course also borders on the university campus.

Jiangxi University of Science and Technology (JXUST) cooperated with Laurentian University in 2+2 joint program in 2014. 

I. Partnership 

(1) “2+2” Joint Degree: The students will finish their first two academic years with proficient english in JXUST, then transfer all the grades they have already gained to LU finishing the rest of the two years. After completing all requirements for both programs the student is awarded two degrees in the combination of a bachelor’s degree.
(2) Post-graduate program: The students will complete their undergraduate program in JXUST with proficient english test such as IELTS 6.5. Then enroll to the post-graduate program in LU. After completing all requirements in LU the students is awarded the master degree from LU. 

II.  Requirement  

(1) Applicants must currently study at academic year two in JXUST.
(2) Major:Metallurgy, Mining Engineering, Computer Science, Enviromental Science, Health Care, and any other related majors.
(3) English Proficiency requirement: IELTS 6.5 or Internet-based TOFEL 80 (If applicants can’t meet this requirement, the EPA test in LU will be asked. ) 

III. Fees(Reference needed only) 

Tuition Fees: For majority of the majors: around 20,377.50 Canadian Dollars/ per year Engineering related majors: around 24,262.92 Canadian Dollars/ per year Pro-session english course: around 375 Canadian Dollars/ per term Living Expenses: around 12000 Canadian Dollars/ per year.
